»i wish my condition was new
A rock hit the water with a giant thud, and fell straight into the water. Only moments later another one skidded off the top of the water at least four times before it sunk into the pull of the water. "How inconsistent of me," She thought to herself as she held the one last rock in her hand.
This was the first time that Olivia had been to the ocean and she had to die in order to see it. Her eyes looked down to her eteranl scars on her wrists that brought her to this place. She was stuck somewhere between happiness that they had brought her for to leave the world he felt so much scorn for, and looking at them with such disgust because of how they looked at her skin.
Turning her hair away from the scars she looked back into the water, how vast it was, how there was absolutely nothing on the horizon. It was scary, inquiring, and altogether beautiful. The rock turned in her fingers, until finally, she angled her body and released it out into the water. Two Skips. "At least i got more than one," She smiled to herself and started moving her feet through the large rocks until she got to the top of the cliff again.
At the final rock, she felt as if she could've tripped, but her ghostly body wouldn't allow her to be so clumsy. It was strange how free death could be at this point in her life. There was no one she longed for, nothing in particular she missed, it made death so easy. She didn't even mind that as she witnessed the wind push the water that she couldn't feel it on her skin. The only thing missing in the after life was some sort of company that had shown her not doubts like the people in her living life had.
