Although one could say Leo has had a violent past, he has never been a violent man. Throughout his life, Leo has never seemed much like a fighter. In fact, Leo’s friends always described him as caring and seemed shocked when he informed them he was headed off to war. Leo was the kind of person who put others before himself. He never cared for selfish needs, or never understood preservation of oneself. He always thought other people were more important then his own needs could be. Even at a young age he had a habit of keeping his problems to himself. These days, he simply hates the thought of being pitied, or thought of as a guy in need of pity. He wants people to treat him normally and not to act on or judge him based on what happened to him in the past. Leo hates discussion breaching in on violence or any sort of violent actions. If anything, even though he knows he could win a fight, he prefers to walk away or deal through with his words. Leo is always scared he could easily hurt someone, being so desensitized as he has been by the war. He keeps a lot of problems to himself, even to the point of it being harmful towards his sanity. Its not that Leo doesn't trust others, he simply believes that his problems are his problems. He hides behind his smiles and caring attitude, preferring to pretend that everything is really fine.
Its hard to tell whether Leo is doing something for a person because he wants too or he knows that it will make that person happy if he does it for them. Leo doesn't seem to mind taking on the work of others. At times, he seems recluse, drawn into his own thoughts. These days though, Leo likes talking to others, keeping his mind off the nightmares. As long as he's talking to people, he doesn't have to be aware of the world around him. In any situation regarding blame, Leo usually feels like the problematic one himself. He often thinks himself as a monster with blood on his hands, and in one way or another related to peoples problems.
Generally in relationships, Leo gives his all to the girl. He refuses to have short term relationships, and is honestly old fashioned in how he thinks about couples. He could easily get his heart broken in a relationship. That being said, he doesn't give his heart to any girl. Leo's more the type to become friends with a girl before in a relationship with her. He's quite the romantic at heart, though he is a little damaged from his experiences in war. As much as he needs someone he could look after to feel good about himself, he would need a girl who understands that he has a troubled past and has yet to get over that and not monopolize his attentions or simply use him for his near naive ways.

In her eyes, straight away, he's going to be this sort of guy that's a hero in all the traditional respects. Melissa is a sucker for heroes like that, so I think that while a) she's going to have a humongoid crush on him, she's also going to b) really respect him and play the role of a friend to him. I'm not sure how much I can say about these two or how much I can write without determining how Leo would respond to her, so after some input from you I think they'd be fun to thread out![/style] |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] LEO AND MELISSA Oh gosh, Leo would not like it at all if Melissa saw him as a hero. In his mind, he is the furthest thing from a hero and he despises the things he did. He wouldn't tell her that outright though, and even if she told him she looked up to him he might just act a little disgruntled at that and wouldn't just start ranting about how much war has messed him up. He'd just try to be his usual nice self to her, but I mean, he can seem like a hero, considering he's still strong despite being dead, and has very strong protective instincts. Always others before himself. But yeah, I think they would be definitely fun to thread! Any other ideas? |

I think it's very endearing that he has that sort of mindset. :') I don't know whether or not Mel will pick up on that, but if she does she'd likely just back off or some such. The only time, I imagine, she would ever actually call him a hero instead of just thinking is if/when she initially learns about his past. Sort of a 'Oh gee whiz, you're a real hero then!' kind of thing. Beyond that, I kind of want to say that they'll get close to one another, but really it's completely up to you how close they get and stuff. Hah. Erm, I don't think I have any other ideas, but if I get any I'll be sure to hit you up. Would you like to thread these two? C:[/style] |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] LEO AND MELISSA I think they could definitely get close to one another, though I don't know how close they would get. It is definitely something that needs to be threaded. I was thinking of replying to her open thread anyway, if that's alright ^^ |

Leo & Liv CRUSH INTO ENDEARING FRIENDSHIP Because of the way that she is i can see her having a minor crush on him at first but after a while she'd probably realize that he wouldn't be interested in her like that and she'd move on with it internally. Instead, she'd probably try to converse with him about other things, eventually thinking of Leo as something of a brother figure. If he was ever in a relationship or became one to love or be infatuated with another person she'd be the one that's super protective and would want to meet the person to make sure they were good enough for him. yes / no ?

NOAH & LEO alright, so i can actually see these two having some sort of friendship. I imagine they'd probably already know one another in the afterlife, maybe they'd met somehow, bumped into one another, had a brief exchange where Noah probably apologized for being ignorant and saying something rude to Leo. They might just talk briefly based on an apology and then move along with their life. Now i'd imagine that they'd see each other once again where one or the other would recognize the other. Maybe they'd have an awkward exchange where they said hello to one another, Noah would probably ask Leo how he'd been. I imagine that mostly, in the after life, that they'd find themselves in brief exchanges that would add up to this weird mutual understanding of one another. I see Leo as the person that Noah would go to once he realizes that he needs to get over the girl he once loved. Maybe they'd be in the middle of a conversation and Noah would bring up the girl he loves in comparison to Leo's relationship with his father. Then somewhere in the middle of it Noah would probably break down crying or something. Yup. Yes / No / Additions ?
